90 Day: The Last Resort Teaser: Kalani & Asuelu on Cheating And A ‘Hall Pass’

The new 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, 90 Day: The Last Resort airs on TLC on Monday, August 14 and among its cast members are Kalani and Asuelu.

As fans will recall, the couple split some time back. However, it looks like they want to save their marriage, mainly for their two boys.

ET released a teaser clip from episode 1, revealing Kalani and Asuelu with the three therapists at the resort.

90 Day: The Last Resort – Asuelu and Kalani

In a teaser clip released by ET, it is clear that Asuelu and Kalani have a lot of work to do to save their rocky marriage.

Fans know the couple well, as they have been featured in multiple seasons. Kalani met Asuelu while vacationing in Samoa and got pregnant with their first son.

Asuelu eventually moved to the US to be with her and the couple now has two young sons, Oliver and Kennedy.

The clip reveals Kalani, 34, and Asuelu, 27, talking to the therapists at the resort, where the couple tells them they have been facing “infidelity” in their marriage.

After Kalani explains that they are struggling with infidelity issues, Asuelu breaks down in tears, clearly confirming the fact that he cheated on her.

Their fellow cast mates are obviously shocked to hear that Asuelu had been cheating on Kalani, who says they are trying to fix their marriage for their kids.

With tears running down his face, Asuelu says, “I know what I did is really bad,” adding, “And I feel like the reason why we are here is because of me. I just need to get the answer of my own problems that I have.”

Asuelu gives Kalani a ‘hall pass’

In another teaser for Monday’s episode, Kalani goes a step further while talking about Asuelu’s cheating. She tells the therapists, “He said I could have a hall pass.” One of the therapists asks her, “Kalani, did you take the hall pass,” as the clip ends.

The new TLC show, 90 Day: The Last Resort features five 90 Day Fiancé couples whose relationships have reached a breaking point. Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa, Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi, Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren, Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods, Molly Hopkins and Kelly Brown fill out the cast.

90 Day: The Last Resort premieres on TLC on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 9 pm ET.
