90 Day Fiancé star Nicole almost cancels her move to Egypt

The big day has come for 90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Sherbiny and her move is finally feeling real. However, in a teaser for Sunday’s episode of The Other Way, she almost doesn’t leave.

Meanwhile, from the start of this season, red flags have officially been flying over Nicole and her husband Mahmoud. While she does love him and wants to be with him, he has various requirements she doesn’t like. For instance, due to his religion, Mahmoud wants Nicole to cover her hair and body. On top of this, she is not allowed to touch other men, besides her father. Fans will recall that Nicole lived with Mahmoud in Egypt before and it didn’t work out. However, it’s time for her to give Egypt another shot.

People has shared a teaser for Sunday’s episode, where Nicole expresses her doubts to her parents about leaving Los Angeles. In the clip she can be heard telling her mom and dad in the car heading to the airport:

I don’t want to go. I’m freaking out.

The new TLC reality star continued, saying she can’t believe the big day is finally here, and she can’t wait to see Mahmoud. However, she is also nervous about living in Egypt as it didn’t work out the first time. Meanwhile, like Nicole’s friends, her parents are also concerned about the move. Meanwhile, her parents do have a right to be concerned, judging from their daughter’s comments. Nicole says:

I’m not looking forward to living in Egypt. I know what it’s like there, and I don’t like it like I don’t like the life there.

Following this, Nicole’s parents voice some of their concerns with her mom saying she resents Mahmoud, as she believes he is asking too much of her. Despite this, the TLC reality star did defend her husband, saying, “It’s because I can. He doesn’t have the option.”

Is the move to Egypt worth it?

Meanwhile, despite all her concerns, Nicole does believe Mahmoud is worth it. However, she isn’t confident that they will overcome all their issues.

Naturally, it is perfectly normal to be nervous about moving to another country and culture and have doubts about it. In fact, Nicole has said on a number of occasions how much she dislikes Egypt and has doubts about living there, especially after what happened the first time.

Meanwhile, after the 90 Day Fiancé star was so unhappy the first time, her parents believe another move really doesn’t make much sense. Meanwhile, Nicole’s mom and dad do make some valid points. While she TLC reality star is old enough to make her own decisions, parents often do know best.

Of course, Nicole’s dislike for Mahmoud’s religious beliefs is a huge red flag in their relationship (remember Brittany and Yazan?). Obviously, this won’t get better by moving to Egypt. 90 Day Fiancé fans will have to wait and see if she jumps on a plane to head back to the US.
