90 Day Fiancé Teaser: Kenny & Armando Clash Over Having A Baby

The last time 90 Day Fiancé fans saw Kenny and Armando, they were considering adopting a baby. In fact, they were visiting homes for orphaned children. Now, as they come back to the show on The Other Way season 5, the couple is sparring over having a baby of their own. Armando has a daughter, Hannah, while Kenny has grown-up kids and as he is nearing 60, he really doesn’t want another baby.

In a teaser for the season premiere of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 5 on Monday, things are tense between Kenny and Armando. They just can’t seem to get on the same page when it comes to babies, even though it was discussed at length in the past.

Armando truly wants to have a baby, while Kenny is against the idea as he is coming up on 60 and has already raised four children, mostly on his own. The pair are already parenting Armando’s daughter, Hannah, together, but Armando would like a little brother and sister for her.

Armando can’t see why they can’t have a baby via surrogacy, but the 26-year age gap between them is causing problems. Meanwhile, he wants Kenny to visit clinics to explore surrogacy in Mexico City and it is clear he is feeling pressured to go.

‘Reality’ is Kenny’s age

Kenny admits to the cameras, “I know I’ve been dragging it I guess because sometimes reality sinks in,” adding, “And the reality is my age.”

“I honestly knew – not even thought – I knew I was done having kids,” Kenny says, adding, “You know, I raised four children, primarily on my own. And I loved every second of it but I was done.”

As for Armando, he told the cameras that he has been patient with Kenny over the issue but is feeling frustrated.

“A lot about what we’ve talked about is time and Kenny’s age,” he says, adding, “Why aren’t we getting this done now, then? If that’s the issue, if that’s what we’re scared about – Kenny growing older – then why aren’t we getting this done now?”
