90 Day Fiancé Teaser: Jen Says Rishi Is ‘Delusional’ About Their Future

There’s only one more episode until the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Tell-All airs, and the drama is intense. In a sneak peek into Sunday’s episode, Rishi admits his family doesn’t approve of their relationship, while she tells him he is “delusional” over their future. Can this couple’s relationship last?

90 Day Fiancé stars Jen and Rishi are in trouble

In a teaser clip for Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Jen and Rishi are discussing his interest in moving closer to his family. However, Jen holds nothing back, telling him that doing so “feels like a prison.”

In fact, Jen, 48, gets totally candid with Rishi about their future, while his family wants a bigger role in their relationship. “I can tell that you’re not ready to leave there,” she says while speaking of him wanting to be a “joint family.”

The 90 Day Fiancé star then tells him that she is “just being honest” with him and that it feels like a prison while adding that she likes her personal space.

Rishi’s family and arranged marriage

90 Day Fiancé fans will likely recall that Rishi’s family had planned an arranged marriage for him as is traditional in India. However, besides that, the family also wants Rishi and his new wife to live closer to them, and Jen is not comfortable with that idea.

However, after the news of their three-year engagement was revealed in last week’s episode, Rishi now wants to put his foot down. He says, “I get it if you don’t want to live in the house, maybe somewhere else, but in the city where you can get your privacy. So we can live nearby anywhere.”

Rishi added that he would then be “reachable” for his family. However, he reminds her that if she wants her freedom, that isn’t a big concern.

90 Day Fiancé star Jen and doubts about Rishi’s family

Talking to the cameras, Jen explains her doubts that Rishi’s family will “ever budge on letting him leave the family home.” She then dubs him “completely delusional about his take on their future together. However, the 48-year-old adds:

But I do really hope that Rishi will make it work so we can stay together because I do love him and I do want to marry him.

However, more doubts are cast about their marriage when Rishi, 32, drops another bombshell relating to their age differences, saying:

The big thing is when they asked about your age, and when I told them, they were totally like, oppose[d] to it.

At that, the American native looks frustrated, asking Rishi to clarify what he means by that, saying, “Did they say, ‘No, we don’t approve?’” To that, Rishi responds, saying “yes” as Jen deems the situation as “ridiculous.”
