90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days stars Memphis Smith and Hamza Moknii are officially divorced after less than two years.

Memphis Smith and Hamza Moknii starred in season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. While their relationship was rocky from the start, they have now officially divorced after less than two years of marriage. Meanwhile, Hamza has recently celebrated seeing his daughter from their union.

According to In Touch, the couple’s divorce was finalized on October 28, 2022. Meanwhile, the news comes while the couple battle for custody of their daughter, who was born in October 2021.

In October last year, Hamza, 27, shared the message on Instagram one day before their divorce was finalized. He wrote, “Today is the HAPPIEST day of my life,” adding:

I got to see my precious, beautiful sweet baby girl … My short time with her filled me with such joy. I can’t wait to see her again.

Memphis and Hamza’s relationship

Memphis and Hamza first met on the Internet and after eight months of chatting, the Michigan native, the mother of two children from previous relationships, traveled to Tunisia to meet him. She already had plans of marrying Hamza in the first meeting.

However, when Memphis found out that Hamza had lied about his age, the problems started. Following this, he found out that Memphis had spent time with her ex-husband before her trip to his country. Various problems were also experienced with Hamza’s family, who didn’t approve of them sleeping in the same room.

Somehow, Memphis and Hamza did manage to walk down the aisle, but first, Memphis insisted her new husband sign a prenuptial agreement. While in a March 2022 confessional, Memphis said that she and Hamza have grown to love and trust each other, she somehow canceled it out, wanting him to sign the agreement. In the confessional, she continued, saying:

But at the end of the day, it is very important for me to be smart in this whole situation. If he decides he doesn’t want to be with me anymore, I don’t feel like he should be entitled to any of my assets, especially because I need to protect my kids.

Rumors of problems in their marriage surfaced in March 2022, after Memphis deleted photos of Hamza from her social media. A month later, the TLC reality star shared news of their breakup, together with a selfie of herself wearing breast pumps. She also noted that the breastfeeding never stopped, adding the hashtag “single mom life.”

Now that we know for sure that Memphis and Hamza are divorced, we wish both former 90 Day Fiancé stars all the best in their lives.
