Two days ago, 90 Day Fiancé star Yara Zaya made a post to her Instagram. Not only did she wish her followers a Happy Valentine’s Day, she also shared that it was her and Jovi’s third anniversary. This sounds all well and good, but the photo was taken at the beach in Antalya, Turkey. Due to the recent devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, fans found the post “tone-deaf” in the light of so many deaths.

Fans have watched Yara and Jovi’s struggles in season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Now, it seems the couple is getting over their problems as depicted on the TLC reality show.

In fact, it is clear from a recent Instagram post that they are now blissfully happy. Yara shared what looked like a fun image of herself and Jovi on the beach in Antalya, Turkey to celebrate both Valentine’s Day and their third anniversary. Moreover, the post was captioned, “Happy Valentine’s Day everyone❤ And happy 3 years anniversary to us @jovid11 love you so much ❤” Jovi was quick to respond to the post, writing “love you” with three red heart emojis.

Fans slam Yara for her tone-deaf post

While the post seems sweet, and Yara and Jovi look so happy, the geo-location of the image was Antalya, Turkey, where they have recently enjoyed a vacation. This fact immediately drew the ire of the Ukrainian beauty’s followers.

One fan wrote:

You were all crying about what was happening in ukraine, but what about turkey ? don’t you want to help them ? this post is totally tasteless after what has happened.

Another commented, writing, “Insensitive post in light of what’s happened in Turkey, while another quipped:

I agree. If they are there right now, the country is in deep mourning and it’s like a huge morgue. I have a friend from there.

Another Instagram follower was quick to note, “I agree. And so strange.”

Meanwhile, another wrote, “How about instead of celebrating and tossing money out the window, you guys help the people out from the earthquake. I am sure the money you spent on yourselves could have been used for food, water and other needs that those folks have.”

The comments continued, with another fan writing, “Yara, Remember how agonizing it was thinking of your loved ones in Ukraine? Well…people are suffering in Turkey. Happy Anniversary.”

Moreover, this isn’t the first time fans have recently criticized the TLC reality star. They might look blissfully happy in the controversial post, but she has often been slammed for the way she treats Jovi. Meanwhile, Yara was recently debating buying property on her own in Europe to make a backup plan in case their marriage failed. Fans were quick to criticize her on that post too.

As for Jovi, fans considered him an immature party boy when he first starred on 90 Day Fiancé. However, fans’ perception of the New Orleans native has changed and he now appears to be the most mature person in the marriage.
