90 Day Fiance star Varya Malina has little to feel happy about these days as Geoffrey Paschel still sits behind bars for his battery conviction. Sentenced to 18 years, it could be a very long time before they live life as man and wife or even as a girlfriend again. However, this week, Varya was able to celebrate a very special reunion and she couldn’t stop smiling.

When Geoffrey went to jail, TLC fans assumed that Varya might return home. Recall, she owned an apartment in Russia but she sold it. Initially in Floria, she went to surprise Geoffey at his home in Tennessee, only to discover that he had another woman there. Actually, it’s never really, be clear what the status of the couple is. What fans do know, is that she is in the country on a visa that she won in the lottery.

90 Day Fiance fans don’t know whether Varya Malina lost her mind by sticking around after her man went to prison. But she does, and she updates now and then about how his appeal is going. So far, there’s been no good news. In the meantime, she helps out with his business and looks after his dogs. Apparently, she’s also around to help support his mom and his sons. But right now, she has someone else in her life and it makes her feel very happy.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on August 3, Varya shared a series of video reels that captured the moment her mom flew in from Russia. Excited, Varya wrote, “She’s here!” and then she explained it was her “mom’s very first time in the USA.” Both of them seemed absolutely over the moon to see each other again.

When they got home, the 90 Day Fiance star showed her mom around the house and captured a snap of her looking at all the pictures of life with Geoffey in happier times. Getting used to the country seems a bit difficult for Varya’s mom, and she explained that she had an “accident” so she had to teach her mom how to use the “bidet.”
