90 Day Fiancé Star Sentenced To 18 Years In Prison

Geoffrey Paschel of 90 Day Fiancé fame has been sentenced to 18 years in prison. The reality star was officially charged on February 3rd for aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault and interference of emergency calls.

Fans will remember Geoffrey Paschel from season four of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. Paschel became engaged to Varya Malina on the show that aired back in February 2020.

Prior to appearing on the TLC series however, Paschel was engaged to a woman by the name of Kristen Wilson. Paschel assaulted Wilson on June 9, 2019 while holding her hostage at his home in Rocky Hill, Tennessee. Per Wilson’s account, Paschel grabbed her by the neck. He then slammed her head against the wall several times before throwing her to the ground and dragging her.

After learning about his troubles with the law, 90 Day fiancé fans expressed their dislike of Paschel being featured on the show. At the time, the 44-year-old defended his decision to be on the show.

“I have been repeatedly asked why I would EVER want to be on a show (the best show FYI) where my life would be put in front of everyone to pick apart — especially with my checkered past,” Paschel told fans.

Paschel went on to add, “Well, guys, it is MY past. It is MY life. It is MY choice. With the path I chose, it cannot EVER be reversed. Everything about me is out there for the world to see, whether it is true or fantasy. I can never go back, and honestly, I would not have it any different.”

90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – What Officers Had To Say About Kristen Wilson’s Injuries

At the time of the kidnapping and assault, officers shared that they arrived to find Wilson with visible bodily harm. She finally had escaped after Paschel fell asleep. Officers shared that she had “a large, raised bruise” on her forehead and “bruises and abrasions on her back, arms, and the inside of her lip.”
