Mahogany Roca entered the TLC show when she met Ben Rathbun online, with whom she grew a closer bond when they talked about their faith in God. Thinking that he already found the love of his life following his divorce, Ben made his way to Peru to personally meet Mahogany and to meet her parents as well.

However, their meeting was not as smooth as they have expected as the father-of-four got a little disappointed when Mahogany doesn’t look the same in her pictures online due to the use of heavy filters. Ben also grew upset when he found out that the Peruvian beauty lied about her age and the place she lives.

In one of her previous social media updates, Mahogany shared photos of herself wrapped in a white towel. She wrote a lengthy caption and revealed the “demons” she has been through recently. The TLC star mentioned her overdose experience that almost lost her life. “I started taking some pills to rest until work, love, and more friendships completely stole my time,” she wrote.

As the pills started to make her unconscious, Mahogany shared that she can still remember listening to Ben, trying to keep her awake. She then ended her message with a grateful heart for acquiring another chance to live. In the comment section, her followers expressed their thoughts and love for the Peruvian native, including her co-star, Jasmine Pineda.

Following her terrible pills experience, the 24-year-old reality star once again revealed a bombshell on social media. Earlier this year, she hinted at marriage with Ben when she posted photos of herself with a wedding band on her finger. However, the tables must have turned when she recently revealed her marital status.

She wrote: “Guys, I’m not married.” Mahogany then explained that it was difficult to settle down at a very young age, however, she hoped to tie the knot in the future. Aside from her jaw-dropping revelation, the “90 Day” star revealed about her new fiancé named Jan. She thanked the man for changing her “life a long time ago.”

Meanwhile, a TLC fan took a screenshot of her Instagram story and placed it on Reddit with a caption: “Mahogany is not married (yet), but very much in love with Jan.” One fan commented, “I thought she was engaged to Ben, so I’m lost.” A Reddit user stated, “I think this chick needs some serious mental health help.” Another one chimed in, “Mahogany and Ben are some of the worst attention-seekers this franchise has produced.”
