Mahmoud Sherbiny debuted on the TLC show when he met the love of his life, Nicole, during one of her spiritual tours in Egypt.

When they got to know each other on that day, Mahmoud immediately asked the woman to marry him. Three weeks after their first meeting, Nicole returned to Egypt to tie the knot with Mahmoud.

Their big day pushed through even if his fiancée refused to tell her family and friends about her plans to start a new life in Egypt.

However, their marriage was tested when they started to fight about their cultural differences. The couple previously had an intense fight onscreen, leading Nicole to hope about returning to the United States.

Recently, Mahmoud approached his brother and opened up about his decision to reside in the United States for good.

He also revealed that his wife still wasn’t able to adjust to her new life in Egypt after trying it twice. As he weighed things down, the man decided to try venturing himself into a new country.

Though his brother, Ahmed, has been supportive of their relationship, the latter reminded Mahmoud about the possible hardships he might encounter in the US.

On the other hand, the TLC star talked about his decision in a confessional, “Nicole tried so hard to be with me in Egypt. Now, when I have a chance to move to the United States, I would be an awful person if I said ‘Oh, no, I’m not going to move.’ It would be like, selfish thing.”

In the previous episode of “90 Day Fiancé,” the couple involved themselves in a serious misunderstanding when Nicole suggested starting anew in America.

However, instead of supporting the idea, Mahmoud started to question their relationship. He also expressed his uncertainty about connecting to the Americans, since his culture and religious practices are different from theirs.

As he was still thinking about his wife’s suggestion, Mahmoud expressed his thoughts about Nicole’s incapability in making important decisions. “This makes me so confused because every time you decide something, you change your mind. Maybe you change your mind about me one day, too,” he stated.
