Kim Menzies debuted on the TLC show when she made her way to Tanzania to witness the filming of Usman Umar’s music video for his song “Zara.” The two created a friendship online when Kim messaged the Nigerian rapper after seeing him on a “90 Day” franchise with his ex-wife, Lisa “Baby Girl” Hamme. When they finally met in person, they became closer and Usman considered Kim as his “potential girlfriend.”
Their relationship was not well-received by fans when Kim started to give expensive gifts to the musician, such as PlayStation 5 and MacBook Pro. The San Diego resident was also slammed by viewers online when she convinced Usman to sleep with her in one room and be intimate with her. However, after all the criticisms they received, the two became officially in a relationship.
During the latest Tell-All, Kim come clean about her real status with her fiancé, Usman. The mother-of-one confirmed that she and the Nigerian star finally called it quits. “Done and over,” Kim stated, to which Usman immediately agreed. “But we’re friends, but we’re cool… I told him we can just be friends with benefits. I’m good with that. I told him that,” she continued.
The San Diego resident also clarified that they were just joking, but she expressed her desire to see her ex-lover for “one last time.” On the other hand, when their castmate, Shaeeda Sween, asked her if SojaBoy would find another wife, Kim stated that it would be time for her to completely let go of him.
Following her split with the Nigerian rapper, Kim received tons of compliments online due to her glowing look. A fan took Kim’s photo on Reddit, wearing a red blouse and her newly colored hair. They captioned the post: “Ms. Kimberly, looking good.” The TLC fans agreed with the statement and dropped their praises in the comment section.
One fan stated, “This is what I’m talking about! She looks great! I’m loving the lighter hues. They bring out the warmth in her and she’s just glowing!” A Reddit user wrote, “I like her, and I think she looks great. She deserves to have some self-esteem.” Another one chimed in, “Kim is a pretty lady with a big heart. I hope she finds a good man in San Diego who doesn’t just want to be on TV.”
