Julia Trubkina debuted on the TLC show when she married the farmer, Brandon Gibbs. The two met through Brandon’s friend, who introduced them via FaceTime, during one of his visits to Russia.
They immediately clicked and continued talking online until Brandon decided to meet her in person. When they reached the peak of their romance, the man finally popped the question during their vacation in Iceland.
When the Russian native flew to the United States, the couple lived with Brandon’s parents. Despite their great companionship, Julia got a hard time connecting to Brandon’s family, especially his mom, Betty.
However, amidst her terrible experiences, Julia was still willing to help the family on the farm. Following all the family drama, the couple is now residing in Virginia Beach.

In one of her recent stories on Instagram, Julia shared some clips of herself crying and stated: “Somebody break into my car and steal all my documents.”
The TLC star was heartbroken, especially since her card and some important documents, including her passport, got stolen. “What the f**k is wrong with people?” she uttered.
Moreover, she shared that the thieves used her card to purchase gas and buy McDonald’s. After the incident, Julia tried to call 911 for help, but according to her, there was no answer.
She also went to the police station; however, she received no help from the authorities. The Russian native expressed her frustration about “not feeling safe anywhere.”

When she knew about the stealing incident, Julia then found her purse on the neighbor’s property. She stepped into the place to get her belonging, but the neighbor shouted at her and called her a “drug dealer.”
Moreover, the TLC star got her jaw dropped when they threatened to shoot her. With a brave heart, Julia then challenged her neighbor to do so.
However, even if the 29-year-old reality star got a lot on her plate recently, she experienced a silver lining when she got to process her documents once again. “By the end of the day, I had applied for a driving license, applied for a social number; filed another complaint with the police. I went to the immigration center,” Julia stated.
