Jen Boecher and Rishi Singh started their love story when they both met at the hotel lobby during one of her solo trips to India. At first, Jen didn’t appreciate the man when he showed his modeling photos. Despite the little annoyance, the two constantly spent time together and brought their friendship to the next level.
After 45 days of quality time, Rishi proposed, and Jen left India engaged to the love of her life. However, the pandemic came, and it took years for Jen to fly back to India to see Rishi. Despite the challenges of their relationship, Jen left her life in the United States and decided to live with Rishi in India for good.
In the second part of the franchise’s Tell-All, Jen showed her immense dismay after Rishi’s mom stated her thoughts about their relationship.
The matriarch expressed her disapproval towards the couple as Jen is too old for her son. As a result, the TLC star cried her heart out backstage, saying: “Hearing his mom say over and over ‘she’s too old for you, she’s too old for you, she’s too old for you,’ like f**k you.”
“Like, you said it. It’s not nice, you acknowledge it’s not nice, yet you keep repeating it,” Jen uttered. Moreover, she FaceTimed her beau and voiced her feelings about the situation.
Rishi then comforted the Oklahoma resident and apologized on her mother’s behalf. “I’m literally very sad about it and I’m on my knees,” he stated.
In other news, Jen recently revealed their engagement to Rishi’s family. Since then, they were starting to get in the middle of the relationship.
As a result, the Oklahoma resident confronted his fiancé as she felt that Rishi doesn’t want to leave his family’s roof even after their marriage.
On the other hand, the man stated that they can live elsewhere but just near to his family’s residence. In a confessional, Jen expressed her doubt about their relationship and hailed Rishi as “completely delusional” about their future. “But I do really hope that Rishi will make it work, so we can stay together because I do love him and I do want to marry him,” she uttered.
