Finally, Jasmine has flown to Michigan with Gino, but the 90 Day Fiancé star isn’t exactly happy. Apparently, she didn’t know that the US had cold weather as she is shocked by the icy temperature when leaving the airport. Recently, an interview with 90 Day Fiancé host Shaun Robinson revealed how shocked she was that couples on the TLC reality show know nothing about each other, or in this case, Gino’s home state. In fact, in this case, the Panamanian beauty has compared Michigan to the cold version of Hell.
90 Day Fiancé star Jasmine arrives in Michigan
ET released a teaser for the upcoming episode of the TLC reality show and in it, Jasmine can be seen arriving at an airport in Michigan. When they reach the parking lot, she asks Gino if the temperature is still the air conditioning. However, he explained that no, it’s not air conditioning, it’s the normal weather for that time of year in Michigan.
This was definitely not what Jasmine was expecting when she flew to the US of A and it is clear that she already hates Michigan, especially the weather.
Gino picks up Jasmine at the airport
In the 90 Day Fiancé teaser, Gino has just picked up Jasmine at the airport and she soon complains about the weather. When Gino explains, “This is Michigan,” Jasmine responds by saying, “I f**king hate it.”
In a confessional, the TLC reality star explains that she was not born to be in this kind of weather, saying:
I’m scared of stepping out and dying, immediately, instantly, from hypothermia. I mean how can people live in a place like this?
Meanwhile, she tells Gino how shocked she is over the cold conditions, saying, “This is like Hell, but the winter version of Hell.”
Talking to the cameras again, Jasmine says that while she has dreamed about this day, she is definitely not happy.
“This place, it screams depression,” she says. “It’s like, so gloomy, so dark. I think God didn’t want people to live here but people insisted on living in Michigan.”
Meanwhile, since the episode was filmed, Jasmine does have some nice things to say about Michigan. She told ET that so far, its people are “super nice,” adding:
They are so kind, you know, city people sometimes because they are always in a rush, they don’t say good morning. They come across, like, really rude, you know, but in here everyone is so lovely. No one is in a rush, like, ‘Good morning, how are you doing?,’ so sweet and I’m like, oh my god, I love Michigan. They are my favorite Americans by the way.
No doubt, Gino must be happy that Jasmine has, in fact, accepted Michigan, despite the freezing weather. At least the 90 Day Fiancé star has someone to keep her toasty and warm.
