Deavan Clegg stepped foot on the TLC show when she has romantically involved with her now ex-husband, Jihoon Lee. The two welcomed their son, Taeyang, and later got married. However, due to the absence of loving emotions, they decided to call it quits. Deavan and Jihoon got a divorce and the matriarch got custody of her son.

When she finally let go of the past, Deavan found love with her boyfriend, Topher Park. Though they’re in a healthy relationship, the Utah resident still got heartbroken when Taeyang was diagnosed with leukemia.

In one of her latest posts on social media, Deavan shared a photo of her son, Taeyang, showing his adorable smile as he rocked his cute denim jacket. The loving mother has been posting about her son’s condition and she often gives heartbreaking updates, such as multiple emergencies and high-dosage medication. However, it seemed like bad things never last as Deavan revealed that her son is getting better and will soon stop his treatment.

“Taeyang has been my little hero and warrior. Battling cancer has no easy task,” she wrote. Though the young man will still have his chemotherapy pills, the TLC star revealed that Taeyang will still have once a month of treatment and every three months of procedures. “We finally have an end date for his treatment. August 2024. Even though it seems far away, we are happy to finally get a date if all goes well,” Deavan stated. She ended her lengthy caption with words of gratitude, thanking her fans for all their support and prayers.

In other news, the TLC star shared her emergency surgery after welcoming her third bundle of joy. During her latest Q&A session on Instagram, a curious fan asked about her well-being as well as her medical procedure. “I got the IUD. When they placed it, they poked through my uterus and actually put it in my abdomen. Worst pain of my life,” Deavan wrote.

“Had to get it removed as soon as possible. Unfortunately, that requires surgery,” she continued. Deavan also stated that she still feels amazing despite the pain and stress she went through.
