When 90 Day Fiancé star David Dangerfield posted a series of hot, ripped abs photos on his Instagram, fans instantly thought the worst. They believed he must have split from Sheila, because otherwise why on Earth would he do such a thing?

David, 42, hails from Omaha, Nebraska and was born deaf. After his former girlfriend broke his heart by cheating on him, he went searching for love. He hopes to find the perfect girl to marry and have a family and he did actually meet her. The TLC reality star met Sheila Mangubat in a Facebook group for the hearing impaired, but there was one big problem. Sheila lives in the Philippines, thousands of miles away from Omaha.

David and Sheila did eventually meet in person after two years of online dating and they got engaged on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. However, after he posted a series of thirst-trap images of his ripped abs, fans were shocked, believing they had split.In fact, in the photos, David is shirtless and looks much different from how he looks on TV. Even more surprising is that he wasn’t shy to flex his physique on social media.

Some fans were totally shocked, with one commenting, writing, “This is highly unacceptable when you’re engaged to somebody else to be posting this kind of stuff!” Another wrote, “If I was your chick so far away I’d be pissed and you would be bye bye.”

Another fan commented, “Ummm what’s going on? This doesn’t seem like the person I saw on the show like what’s up with all these shirtless pics!!? I mean good job on the weight loss.”

However, swiping through the comments, something slowly becomes clear. One fan wrote, “Haha I love ur sense of humour…can’t wait for u n Sheila to be together!” Another commented, “David, you’re having too much fun.”After looking closer at the images, something became clear to Instagram users. They realized the images had been generated on some type of AI app. This explained why David had failed to caption his post and probably sat there waiting to have a smile at fans’ comments.
