Since the fight happened in a New York City hotel, Angela Deem’s friend, Jennifer Di Landro, has opened up about the incident.

Moreover, she denies being punched by Angela during their fight, saying it looked worse than it actually was. She added that she and Angela have since resolved the issue and are back on good terms.

While Jennifer won’t reveal the actual cause of the fight, she did say it had nothing to do with each other or their friendship. In fact, she claims a third party was involved who wronged Angela.

The incident happened after Angela and Jennifer were attending a Reality Lip Sync Battle event with other reality stars. The fight continued in the hotel lobby, with Angela shouting insults at Jennifer as they parted ways.

Jennifer Di Landro reveals what happened

90 Day Fiancé star Angela is well-known for her short temper and loud arguments with her husband, Michael.

In fact, it is her insecurity that has been the main reason behind their frequent fights. Due to that, Deem has earned the reputation of being aggressive and abusive.

However, things became worse after someone caught her on video, punching and slapping her friend, Jennifer. The incident happened ahead of Angela’s comeback on the spinoff, 90 Day: The Last Resort.

Speaking to InTouch, Jennifer explained what happened and how their friendship stands, saying:

Angela and myself hold a close bond. Due to unfortunate events, things got heated, but we have since discussed and cleared the air.

According to Jennifer, she was in the process of taking Angela back to her hotel to make sure she got there okay while collecting her car to go home. She said: “It’s funny,” adding, “It actually looked worse than what it was.”

The 90 Day Fiancé star’s BFF claimed that no one threw punches and no one hit anyone, saying:

That is false! It’s an event that I can speak for myself, as a grown [woman] with a business, should have never happened.

Jennifer revealed that she just wanted to go home, repeating that everything is fine and they “are good.”

She said she believes that life has a learning curve for everyone and that she hopes there will be a good takeaway from the controversy.

Meanwhile, Jennifer wasn’t ready to reveal what actually happened, saying there is no need to rehash. Moreover, she added that the situation has been totally resolved, while again stressing that the incident had nothing to do with each other.

About the fight

The incident happened on Tuesday, August 1, when Angela and Jennifer were attending the Reality Lip Sync Battle at Slate NYC.

A number of fellow TLC reality stars were there, including 90 Day Fiancé stars Molly Hopkins and Paola Mayfield. Allegedly, the fight began when Angela and Jennifer were in a cab traveling towards Hilton Garden Inn Midtown Park Avenue at 2 am.

As they entered the hotel lobby, they continued to fight and a video captured at the scene showed the hotel receptionist trying to separate the pair. After the NYPD was called to the scene, the two friends were questioned, with Angela denying doing anything. However, as Angela went to her hotel room she continued shouting at Jennifer, accusing her of being a “wannabe” and a “b****.”

While Angela and Jennifer appeared to have resolved their issues, it remains to be seen what will happen next with the 90 Day Fiancé star.
