90 Day Fiancé fans immediately thought of the family of Mursel Mistanoglu when the February 6 earthquake struck Turkey. Thousands of people lost their lives, and many more were injured. Terrifying scenes of buildings collapsing came along, and a second quake left many people freezing in the cold with no home to go to. Well, Anna Campisi quickly updated her fans about the situation for Mursel’s family.

In 2021, spoilers arrived that Anna and Mursel Mistanolglu flew out to visit his family in Turkey. Actually, they’ve visited several times. More recently, the boys went along with them so that his mom and dad could meet their baby, Gokhan. Actually, TLC fans liked hearing about that. Recall, he was terrified of telling his traditional Turkish parents that Anna already had sons from another relationship.

The news that the 90 Day Fiancé star’s family lives in the country where a massive earthquake caused terrible destruction, really worried TLC fans. In fact, it’s the second time that news from Europe affected Anna and Mursel. When they welcomed their baby Gokhan, who was born by a surrogate mom, Anna rushed to Ukraine. As it came soon after the start of the Russian war, she had to go and get her baby out. Fortunately, it all turned out okay in the end.

On February 6, Anna took to her Instagram and posted up a card. On it, she said, “We want to thank everyone that has reached out to us.” Then she assured her followers, “Mursel’s family is safe.” However, they will “continue to pray for those affected.” Actually, Anna seems quite devastated for the people experiencing the earthquakes in Turkey. Replying to a fan she said, “I’m afraid…it’s only going to get worse. It’s really sad.”

Plenty of 90 Day Fiancé fans said that they will continue to pray for everyone as well. According to CNN, the quake was “one of the strongest…to hit the region in a century.” It happened before sunrise and “at least 3,830 people…died.” If you don’t know, it also affected Syria and sent “tremors as far away as Lebanon and Israel.”

90 Day Fiancé fans put a lot of energy into thinking about the tragic events in Turkey and Syria. One follower of Musel and Anna said, “I was just coming to your IG to check. So sorry for the tragedy for all the affected people. I am also glad to hear that Mursel’s family is ok.”
