90 Day Fiancé Alums Paul & Karine Staehle Spotted At Disneyland

Following on from Paul Staehle’s recent “disappearance” drama, the 90 Day Fiancé alum traveled from Brazil to be with his wife, Karine. In fact, he returned and spent a day with Karine at Disneyland, California, a place she had always dreamed of visiting. However, where were the children?

While neither 90 Day Fiancé alum revealed their visit, Paul and Karine were spotted spending time together at the happiest place on earth – Disneyland, California. The story first appeared on Reddit when a fan posted a candid photo of the pair. Meanwhile, it was also shared by the Instagram blogger, @90daythemelanatedway.

They captioned the image, writing, “90 Day Fiance News Alert – Paul once told @90daythemelanatedway that Karine always wanted to go to Disneyland in California…well, looks like he made her wish come true! Karine & Paul were spotted at the “happiest place on earth” today! Since they are still going through the court system & CPS, they were sans children.”

In the image, shared on October 5, Karine, 27, is wearing a blue dress, sunglasses and a black Minnie Mouse ears, as well as a backpack. Standing next to her in the line is Paul, 40, who is engrossed in his phone, while carrying a Disney shopping bag.

Where were Pierre and Ethan?

One thing that is instantly apparent is that the couple’s sons, Pierre, 4, and Ethan, 2, are not pictured with Karine and Paul. The couple has been battling to get the children back from Child Protective Services (CPS) since June 22. Meanwhile, the boys were placed with a foster family, while Karine and Paul are still fighting to regain custody.

What makes the latest news so interesting is that Paul and Karine’s visit to Disneyland comes a couple of weeks after Paul allegedly went missing in Brazil. At the time Karine took to her Instagram Stories to claim he was missing and asking for “prayers that he is found safe.”

The drama continued for a few days until Paul shared his location with his mom, telling her he “f**ked up bad” and had gotten lost in Brazil while traveling alone. He asked Mary to contact friends to help him get a boat to get home.

Karine had fans worried that Paul had died when she posted a tribute video to him on Instagram. However, Mary later revealed that her son was “OK and alive” but not in a good situation.

In a September 7 interview with TMZ, Paul revealed he took a trip with a 90 Day Fiancé fan on a “canoe-type boat,” but they had a “hiccup” with their transportation, saying:

We actually went to a floating house, and I actually ended up staying at a floating house for a few days. I didn’t have my charger or anything so I didn’t charge my phone. I had to go around the floating houses to try to get signal so I could call.

Meanwhile, when Paul was asked why he didn’t respond to the situation on social media, he said that with everything going on, he “didn’t wanna add gasoline to all these different fires.” He added that it feels like no matter what you say, many people online will “twist and twirl things around, just add gasoline.”

Paul and Karine first debuted on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 1 in 2017. After they wed they welcomed their two sons in March 2019 and February 2021. Meanwhile, their rocky romance has been off and on since then.
