90 Day Fiancé Alum Paul Staehle Alive In ‘Remote Village’ According To Mom

After 90 Day Fiancé alum Paul Staehle was reported as missing, fans were concerned over his wellbeing.

Karine Martin shared the news on Instagram, although it didn’t seem she was too concerned at the time, judging by other posts on the same day.

However, the mystery of Paul’s disappearance has been solved and his mother has confirmed that he is in a remote village and is well but is getting bitten by bugs.

After Karine Martin revealed that Paul Staehle, 42, was missing, fans were concerned. However, according to his mother Edna, he is alive and well.

However, despite where he is right now, Paul has been active on Instagram and has deleted all his posts except one relating to his children.

He has so far made no comment on his disappearance.

90 Day Fiancé fans will recall that Staehle moved to Brazil to be with Karine Martins, but their marriage was rocky.

Eventually, things came to a serious head amid cheating allegations, language difficulties and abuse allegations.

Eventually, Paul and Karine was fired by TLC over abuse allegations, but fans kept up with the mismatched pair via social media.

Meanwhile, on August 31, 2023, Karine claimed Paul had gone missing in Brazil. She even posted a video that implied that Paul was dead.

However, as reported by InTouch, Paul’s mother Edna spoke to 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates, confirming, “I’m so grateful that he’s OK and alive, but he’s still not in a good situation.”

Paul Staehle is alive

Edna told John in a YouTube live on September 3, “He’s still not back out of the woods yet, but I know he’s alive.”

Paul’s mother had found out he was in danger after taking a canoe-like boat to the “wrong place” at nighttime.

Meanwhile, Edna thought it was “stupid” of him to venture somewhere at night all alone. In fact, Paul went somewhere that was “dangerous,” and added that he freaked out, saying he screwed up.

Edna added, “And then he found a way to get back over to this village, so he’s in some remote village, over there somewhere.”

She added that her son is being treated well by the villagers and has been able to sleep in hammocks.

However, she said he does get “eaten by bugs” outside. According to Edna, a boat would be able to collect Paul yesterday, September 4.

Meanwhile, one of Paul’s friends called his mom on Saturday, saying they were going to look for him, and that he is hoping to get back on Tuesday, September 5.

No confirmation from Paul on Instagram

While Edna has let his fans know he is alive, Paul hasn’t as yet made a statement on his Instagram to reassure them.

As Karine had alluded to her estranged husband’s death, many were concerned over his disappearance.

Meanwhile, as the pair is still fighting for custody of their children, it doesn’t look like Paul and Karine were together at the time of his disappearance.
