90 Day Fiancé Alum Leida Margaretha Arrested For Theft & Fraud

Once you have starred on 90 Day Fiancé, your life gets public, whether for good reasons or not. In the case of Leida Margaretha, she has been arrested for allegedly using her place of work to steal many thousands of dollars. 90 Day Fiancé alum Leida Margaretha is behind bars

Portage Police Department in Wisconsin wrote that they had been notified last week by the owners of Loggerhead Deco. Leida Margaretha was employed by the glass bottle decorating company and had committed both theft and fraud.

Seemingly, while working as a temp, the former 90 Day Fiancé alum made “fraudulent payments and withdraws to several outside business accounts and customers” while using the company’s account info. According to the police press release, some of the victims had reported several thousands of dollars missing from their accounts. For this reason, Margaretha is facing charges of Theft from a Business Setting, Wire Fraud Against a Financial Institution and Forgery.

While this is already a shocking amount of crimes, the police believe she could face additional charges as their investigation continues.

About Margaretha’s time on the show

As fans know well, Margaretha was not a fan-favorite cast member when she joined 90 Day Fiancé in season 6. In that season, she traveled from Indonesia to Wisconsin to be with her fiancé, Eric Rosenbrook. The couple met on an international dating website, which led the former US marine to fall for the Indonesian beauty.

Meanwhile, the relationship went downhill right from the start, leading to drama and mayhem on the TLC reality show. They faced issues relating to their age gap, personal affairs and maturity. Moreover, Leida was slammed by fans after she forced Eric to eject his teenage daughter, Tasha, from their home. Margaretha also filed a restraining order against his kid after the explosive argument.

On top of this, she convinced Eric not to pay child support for his daughter. This led fans to slam Leida for her unfair treatment of Tasha. Due to all the drama, 90 Day Fiancé fans deem Eric and Leida the worst couple on the TLC reality show. As fans stand right now, that is a major achievement when compared to some of the more recent couples.

Back in March 2023, Screen Rant wrote that despite all the problems, Margaretha and Rosenbrook were still together. However, there is no news of Eric’s reaction to his wife’s arrest.
