Recently, Internet celebrities have found a new way to get back their popularity by posting death hoaxes.
One recent example was 90 Day Fiancé alum, Josh Seiter, who claimed his Instagram account had been hacked.
Meanwhile, his followers are skeptical, believing it was fake news from the celebrity himself.
Now, it is Karine Martins who has made an Instagram Story, stating that Paul Staehle is missing and hinting at his possible death.
Due to all the other incidents, 90 Day Fiancé fans are now skeptical about Karine’s post.
Fans will recall that Karine was featured on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days back in 2017 with Paul Staehler.
The couple has been in the news pretty much ever since. Their rocky relationship led to alleged abuse (on Karine’s part) which led to the couple being fired by TLC.
However, it looks like things have gotten worse for the couple.
In her Instagram Story of August 30, Karine wrote in Portuguese and English:
Paul went missing last night in Brazil. Prayers he is found safe.
However, as can be seen from the second image, she posts a normal image, revealing either a fat tummy or a baby bump?
Meanwhile, the fact that she made other posts on her Story, including a “Live Laugh Love” sign, hence the skepticism.
The next day, August 31, Karine posted a photo collage of herself, Paul and their two children. She captioned the post as follows:
[broken heart emoji] Not all of our memories were bad. Our children loved you very much. We will never forgot [sic] you or the good memories we all shared.
Moreover, 90 Day Fiancé fan page, John Yeats, shared text messages between Paul and his mother.
Life insurance ad
A little later, Karine reposted an advert for life insurance, which read, “Life insurance is a final way of telling your loved ones, ‘I’ve got you.’”
However, as Karine has continued making posts on her Instagram Story, and Paul’s account is private, it is unclear whether this is yet another sick fake death claim.
However, for now, we hope that Paul Staehle is alive and well.
