Who can forget Jesse Meester for his appearance on 90 Day Fiancé with Darcey Silva and later on 90 Day: The Single Life with Jeniffer Tarazona? A native of the Netherlands, the former reality star has probably broken more hearts along the way. Looking at his X/Twitter profile, he writes, “In today’s world, It’s easier to get into a woman’s pants than into her heart.” Ever the romantic, it now comes out that Jesse is living the good life on the Costa del Sol in Spain.

90 Day Fiancé alum Jesse Meester spotted in Spain

Euro Weekly News, a local English-language newspaper in Spain recently reported that a reporter had come across Jesse Meester outside Malaga Airport in Spain around a year ago. On recognizing his face, Jennifer Popplewell approached the former reality star to find out why he was in Spain.

Jesse had worked as a fitness instructor and health coach, but it seems now he is into luxury real estate in Marbella on the Costa del Sol. At that time, he had recently moved to Spain and bought a home in Estepona, around a 20-minute drive from Marbella. Meanwhile, Jesse’s business is named Meester Real Estate

‘Luxury and culture’ in Marbella, Spain

Recently, the reporter had the chance to speak with Meester again and asked him how his move from Amsterdam to Marbella was going for him. She particularly asked him what attracted him to the Costa del Sol and what he finds unique about Marbella. Jesse replied saying:

Marbella is quite unique in its fusion of luxury and culture. Its stunning coastline, vibrant lifestyle, golf courses and historical charm make it the place to be. The mix of traditional Andalusian culture with modern amenities gives it an unparalleled allure. Now Malaga just turned out to be the best city to live in, in the world that is, did you know?

He was then asked whether this new environment changed his outlook on life, to which Meester replied, “Living in such a diverse and beautiful environment could definitely shift one’s outlook. The relaxed lifestyle and emphasis on enjoying the moment might inspire a different perspective on life.”

When asked his opinion of food in Spain, Jesse enthused:

Spanish cuisine is amazing! From paella to tapas, the rich flavors and fresh ingredients make dining an absolute delight. The passion for food and the emphasis on communal dining is something truly special. I love eating light in the evening with just a few tapas, and a bigger meal for lunch. I try to go for one meal a day now.

Jesse was asked whether he prefers swimming in the pool or the sea, to which he responded that he is “a sea kind of guy.” He noted that salt is good for the skin and that even now in winter, it is refreshing to take a dip. It should be noted that Spain, and particularly the Costa del Sol, is still unnaturally warm and sunny right now, even in late November.

Comparing the Netherlands and Spain

The former TLC reality star went on to explain the differences between living in the Netherlands and Spain, which he said were many. Jesse said the climate, culture and pace of life in Spain and even its architecture are “starkly different.” While he said his home country is known for its efficient systems and bicycle-friendly cities, “Spain has a deeply ingrained laid-back culture with a love for fiestas and leisurely siestas.” Olé to that!

When asked about his preferences for Dutch or Spanish girls, he explained:

Well, both are wonderful in their own ways. Dutch girls might be more straightforward and open, while Spanish girls are known for their passion and warmth. Beauty truly lies in the eye of the beholder, doesn’t it?

There was no mention in the article of a love interest in his life, but he certainly has a good choice in Marbella, which is full of beautiful women.
