90 Day Fiancé Alum Anna-Marie Campisi Mistanoglu Undergoes Gastric Sleeve Surgery

When it comes to 90 Day Fiancé, a surprising number of cast members have plastic surgery or gastric sleeve surgery. No doubt in an effort to stay relevant and attractive, the latest to do so is Anna-Marie Campisi Mistanoglu, who made a surprise Instagram post about the treatment.

90 Day Fiancé alum Anna-Marie Campisi Mistanoglu joins the ranks of Angela Deem, Winter Everett and Tiffany Franco by undergoing gastric sleeve surgery for weight loss. The former TLC reality star surprised her followers on Instagram with a video about having the surgery in Turkey.

Fans will recall that Anna met Mursel Mistanoglu, 38, on Facebook which led to her traveling to Turkey to meet him in person. They starred in 90 Day Fiancé season 7, where Mursel’s parents were against their marriage because she had three children. However, they did finally have a change of heart when his K-1 visa was about to expire. Meanwhile, the couple wed in Omaha in 2019 and welcomed their first baby together via a surrogate on April 11, 2022.

Anna undergoes gastric sleeve surgery for weight loss

Fast forward to now, and days shortly before her son’s first birthday she decided to treat herself to gastric sleeve surgery. In a video shared on Instagram, Anna can be seen in red pajamas walking in a hospital hallway. The video, posted by Anna and the account of @dr.obesity. Readers can watch the clip here. Meanwhile, the caption reads:

Meanwhile, viewing Dr. Obesity’s profile reveals the  “Best Obesity Surgeon Team in EU.”

Apparently, the 90 Day Fiancé alum flew from Nebraska to Mursel’s native Turkey to have the weight-loss surgery. In the comments, Anna’s fans congratulated her on the surgery. Meanwhile, the last we saw of her was on 90 Day Diaries, but in 2015, Anna and Mursel have their own company, Beauty and the Bees.

Among their products, the husband and wife sell honey and honey-related personal care products, as well as lotions, jams and teas. Of course, Anna and Mursel actually met in an online beekeeping group on Facebook as they both love beekeeping.

While the 90 Day Fiancé alums initially had communication issues, Anna began learning Turkish, while Mursel studied English. While the former TLC star speaks freely about her and Mursel’s business, she hasn’t mentioned having weight loss problems in the past. Hopefully, in the future, Anna will share more weight loss and health-related content with her fans.
