Readers may recall that TLC announced the new, upcoming season of 90 Day Diaries early in December. At the same time, they also noted that other spinoffs, including 90 Day: The Single Life, 90 Day: The Single Life: Pillow Talk and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? were also returning.
Meanwhile, when Variety made the announcement, they also included this season’s logline as follows:
In ’90 Day Diaries,’ the cast members film themselves in their day-to-day lives as they navigate new challenges in their relationships and experience major life milestones. This season celebrates new beginnings, from births to new homes, dating, travel adventures and all the ups and downs in between.
Which cast members are returning for the TLC spinoff?
Among the cast are new and old cast members, making for a big variety, including Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone, Steven Frend and Olga Koshimbetova, Kara Bass and Guillermo Rojer. Moreover, fans will get to see Kobe Blaise and Emily Bieberly and Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet.
Other cast members include Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre, Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina, David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan, Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh, as well as Kimberly Menzies, Syngin Colchester, Tom Brooks, Cortney Reardanz, Fernanda Flores and many more. One controversial couple that fans likely won’t be thrilled about is Liz Woods and Ed Brown. While Liz will be welcomed by fans, Big Ed not so much.
Judging from the trailer, fans are likely to see more breakups, births and new partners and it is unlikely that any viewers will be bored.
Season 5 of 90 Day Diaries premieres on Monday, January 8, 2024, at 8 pm ET/PT on TLC. From then on, new episodes will drop every Monday.
