7 Little Johnstons: Trent Johnston Gets Scary News

7 Little Johnstons Season 13 is set to return with all new episodes on Tuesday April 18 2023.  TLC released an official new promo for 7 Little Johnstons’ new season, and it looks like the little family has a lot going on.  Most noticeably is 7 Little Johnstons’ Trent getting a scary medical diagnosis.

The all new 7 Little Johnstons trailer shows Trent Johnston at a doctor’s appointment where he learns that he is weighing in at 150 pounds and is now considered pre-diabetic.  Of course, 150 pounds doesn’t sound like a lot to some of us, but when you factor in Trent’s height there is definitely cause for concern.

Trent Johnston appears concerned by the news that he gets from his doctor.  He informs the 7 Little Johnstons cameras that he needs to make some life-style changes as soon as possible.  And, his wife Amber seems to be on board, in another clip she heads to the gym with Trent to get his workout on.

Over the years on 7 Little Johnstons, the kids’ weight and lack of exercise have come up more than once.  And, Trent has had some health issues related to his back in previous episodes.  Exercise, or the family’s lack of exercise has always been a hot topic for Amber Johnston.  Amber recently went on a health journey of her own and shed several pounds.  So, Trent’s diagnosis and medical scare is not something she will take lightly.

In other 7 Little Johnston news, the new promo also reveals that the Johnston kids are all branching out on their own and that means dating.  Plus, we get to see the Johnston Family visit their foreign exchange student in Finland this season!
