1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – Tammy Struggles To Breathe!

Breathing problems, sadly, are nothing new for Tammy Slaton. But the 1000-Lb Sisters star had improved her health by losing an impressive amount of weight. 

However, now Tammy once again has been seen “struggling to catch her breath,” an insider told the Sun. And the source also revealed that the 1000-Lb Sisters star became ill with pneumonia amid a trip to Atlanta, Georgia.

The insider described the 1000-Lb Sisters star as fighting the lung infection soon after observers saw her battling to breathe outside of her house in Kentucky. And those watching saw Tammy step out of the passenger seat of a car.

However, as the 1000-Lb Sisters star exited the car, she had to hold onto the top of the car door. And she stopped to try to catch her breath. Tammy then held her hand on her chest, then managed to walk into her home.

1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – Tammy Slaton Gets Sick On Season 5 Trip

Season 5 of 1000-Lb Sisters will follow Tammy’s progress amid going from her highest weight of 717 to her lowest weight of 448 pounds. The reality TV star spent time at her house in early October.

However, for filming purposes, Tammy took the trip to Atlanta this month. But a source shared that the 1000-Lb Sisters star traveled about six hours to film promotion footage for season 5. That trip took place despite Tammy suffering from pneumonia. 

The National Institute of Health describes pneumonia as “an infection that affects one or both lungs.” It typically lasts from one to two weeks.

1000-Lb Sisters Spoilers – Tammy Slaton Gets Arrested!

Tammy’s illness comes after she shockingly faced arrest for marijuana possession. Officials charged the 1000-Lb Sisters star with possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

However, the arrest scenario began when police pulled a vehicle over for speeding. Although Tammy was in the passenger seat of that car, police then smelled marijuana. And she confessed that she carried marijuana in her purse.

But despite the jar in her purse holding about an ounce of marijuana, the charges could get dropped. If Tammy avoids any legal issues for six months, she will get away without charges after taking a Marijuana Education Program.

However, 1000-Lb Sisters has filmed at a CBD farm in Henderson, Kentucky, for season 5. The $391,000, two-acre farm home of Greenman Gardens sells a variety of products. For instance, the company advertises “full spectrum hemp extract, [which] contains the plant’s natural compounds including cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids.”
