Before Tammy and Caleb’s breakup was announced, several outlets shared Tammy’s frustration that she was in Kentucky while her husband had made no effort to join her. Reports indicated that Caleb was supposed to arrange to transfer to a Kentucky nursing home so he would be closer to Tammy. Unfortunately, reports also stated that Tammy didn’t feel that Caleb was putting any sense of urgency into his transfer.

Tammy was days away from coming home when she began dating Caleb in the nursing home. The relationship set off plenty of red flags with Tammy’s family as well as her fans. Even one of the other residents admitted that Caleb’s story sounded like that of a stalker. Caleb admitted to finding out what facility Tammy was in and going there for her.

Some fans even suggested that TLC had simply filmed the wedding for ratings because according to some outlets, the marriage license was not obtained in time for the November wedding. Some also suggested that Tammy and Caleb were officially married in January.

The wedding happened extremely fast and Tammy’s family wondered if there was a reason for this. Chris Combs, Tammy’s brother, wondered if Tammy may have been pregnant and that was the reason for the quicky ceremony. Tammy, disputed this and said they wanted their friends at the rehab facility to attend the wedding and this was the only way they could do that.

Tammy has been dropping hints for weeks that she and Caleb had broken up. Tammy has been helping Amy Halterman’s son and wanted Caleb to be able to do things with them. Somehow, Caleb justifies blaming Tammy for the split when she says he didn’t stick to their plan for their future. Whatever the case, it seems that the romance is done.

Caleb shared, “If you are here for my wife, please delete me now. We are married by paper only right now. Her decision, not mine. I’m hurt, mad, confused, and alone even with others around. Thank you for your prayer and support.”
