1000-Lb Sisters spoilers reveal that Amy Halterman has been going through some tough times with her husband, Michael Halterman. Just a few weeks after their second son, Glenn, was born, she ended up taking her kids and leaving him. It turns out that things got very violent between them and she had to call 911.

1000-Lb Sisters – What Happened?

It turns out that Amy called 911 a few times because Michael was throwing things and got very violent with her. This happened while their children were present and of course, this is not the best type of thing for them to see at such a young age. It turns out that Michael was very upset that Amy was trying to take the boys and leave. In the report, the police officer stated, “Amy wants to separate, but the male doesn’t want to.”

They did report that these two were sober when the fight started. They were no arrests made, but of course, this seems incredibly concerning to Amy’s fans. They are happy that she was able to get out before something worse happened.

1000-Lb Sisters – Michael Halterman Files For Divorce

It turns out that Michael was actually the one to file for divorce. The divorce is currently pending, but it looks as if they will meet in court on May 3. It turns out that these two have been having a lot of issues in their marriage since the boys were born. Amy loved having them on the show with her, but Michael did not want this for his sons. Amy also has had a lot of issues with the fact that Michael never wanted to help her with the boys.

Even on the show, we never saw him feeding the boys or even giving them attention. It was clear that he feels that her job is to raise the kids all on her own. Sources close to her have said, “Amy says Michael is lazy and has been jealous of her attention towards the kids.” Even though neither one of them has made a public statement about their split, it seems clear that they are no longer together.

With their separation, Amy still has his pictures on her Instagram account, so things may not be quite as bad or she is just doing that due to her contract with TLC. It is all up in the air as of right now, but we will continue to keep an eye on things to see what happens next with Amy and Michael. We hope it all works out.
