1000 Lb Sisters’ fans have grown to love Amy Halterman and Tammy Slaton’s sister, Amanda Halterman. Amanda shared some scary news Saturday, announcing that she was in a car accident. Amanda is the take charge and tell it like it is older sister of the Slatons sister. Of course, Misty Slaton and Chris Combs are older siblings as well.

1000 Lb Sisters’ Amanda took to Instagram to update fans on her condition after the scary accident Saturday just to let fans know how she is. The accident happened on Friday according to Amanda’s post. Amanda talked in detail, outlining the facts about the accident and her condition following it. Fans certainly worried that some of the children may have been with her.

Amanda thanked everyone including the EMTs, first responders, and everyone else who helped in any way. Amanda also stated that the other car hit her making it sound as though she was not at fault in the accident. However, that did not make it any less traumatizing for Amanda or her fans as she posted a photo of her vehicle as well.

After thanking everyone who assisted with the accident, Amanda thanked God for helping her and the other driver survived the accident. Amanda may be a little battered and bruised after the accident but at least she is still here and doing fairly well. Amanda is again grateful that the other driver survived and is doing well.

Amanda’s car is a bit battered as well but Amanda doesn’t seem to be too bothered by that. Of course, cars can be replaced and human lives cannot. Amanda also thanked some friends that she obviously was acquainted with as well as someone who asked to remain anonymous. Amanda seems to have popped a tire but the car doesn’t look like a total loss.

1000 Lb Sisters fans offered their support on her post as well. Comments range from wishing Amanda and the other driver a speedy recovery to others talking about accidents of their own. Amanda didn’t mention anyone else being in the car with her so apparently she was alone when the accident happened.

Fans of the show were eager to offer their support and let Amanda know how much they love having her and Chris as an addition to the show. Amanda didn’t give her well-wishers any more details about the accident but she did acknowledge a few with hearts. Hopefully, Amanda and her car will be on the mend soon.
