The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for December 26-30, 2022, feel like a blast from the past as two former couples from long ago reconnect in different ways.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Back To The 80s With Cricket, Christine Blair Williams’ And Danny Romalotti
Imagine Christine Blair Williams’ (Lauralee Bell) surprise when she walks into Crimson Lights to talk to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) about adopting their Christmas miracle baby when she spots Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) sitting in a corner drinking coffee.
He was her first love and her first husband and only the lies and machinations of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) tore them apart. Danny calls Christine by her old nickname, Cricket, the name so many Y&R fans still call her. The pair reminisce and leave together. But let us not forget that Chris is married to Paul Williams, a character we never see as Doug Davidson has complained on social media so much about never working that they seem to never let him work anymore.
Y&R Spoilers – Back To The 90s With Jack Abbot And Diane Jenkins
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) have been growing closer much of this year. Jack has done his best to resist his feelings for Diane since she returned from the dead as soap characters are apt to do but this week he just can’t do it.
After the merry Christmas they spent together with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier), and young Harrison, Jack is feeling the love so he kisses Diane passionately. He rejected her several months ago when she kissed him but Diane certainly doesn’t reject Jack.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Other Genoa City Happenings
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) does her best to bring Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) together at a holiday party. Will things go her way and will these cousins be close again as they were before?
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) also has a new plan for the new year as he wants to bring Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) back into the family company. This happens often, but will it work out this time or will the rivalry between Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam over Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) get in the way? Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how these stories play out.
