Y&R Star Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales) Has Something To Celebrate

‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers show that while Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales) may not be on the show anymore, we still love to keep up with our favorite soap stars past and present, and Jordi is no different. Recently, he announced on Instagram that he was celebrating his 10-year anniversary with his wife Kaitlin Vilasuso.

Vilasuso shared his excitement in a post that included several photos of him and his wife. He couldn’t seem to believe that it had already been a decade! What an incredible accomplishment! Jordi wrote,

“10 years! 10!!! ?Who would’ve thunk it @kaitlinvilasuso aka My Katie Girl? Celebrating our anniversary in Sedona last week seemed quite appropriate: the terrain, the adventure, the food, you telling me we’re going the wrong way, me making you walk across Devil’s Bridge, you humoring me as I tried to serenade you with Green eyes, me encouraging you in our morning yoga class, all the the ying and the yang as it culminated to our last stop at the vortex! It was just everything I could’ve dreamed of and wanted…just like our marriage because: Honey, you are the rock upon which I stand!”

The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Congratulations Jordi And Kaitlin Vilasuso!

We’re excited for Jordi and Kaitlin and here’s to another 10 years. Unfortunately, we probably will not be seeing Jordi back in Genoa City as he was (rudely) killed off-screen very suddenly. While there were rumors in the week leading up to it, the story felt very rushed and there wasn’t much of a chance for viewers to really say goodbye.

Instead, Rey got into his car to go get some hockey tickets for himself, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), and her son in the middle of a terrible storm and was driven off the road. This gave way for the first “reunion” between Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) as they were also involved in the accident, but Ashland was able to save Victoria.

Unfortunately, Rey was killed on impact in the accident and was erased from further stories. Many fans miss his character and hold out hope that he may pull a Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and come back in the future somehow. Though, it doesn’t look like it will be happening.

At least we can still keep up with Jordi Vilasuso and see what projects he may have in the future!
