The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) decided to end her relationship with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) after finding out that he checked on her with baby mama Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).

She wanted a clear break, so in addition to breaking up with Devon, she resigned as counsel at Chancellor Winters. It was something that took Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) by surprise.

Mishael Morgan spoke with Soap Opera Digest and revealed why Amanda could not trust Devon after being intimate with Abby. She said that Abby would always be a part of his life. They share a child so that they will be “forever connected.” It’s not a situation where Amanda can ask Devon not to see her.

Instead of driving herself crazy, Amanda decides to end things with Devon so he’s free to be with Abby if that’s what he wants. Now that Amanda has left, Devon feels lost without her. He isn’t sure what to do to convince her that it was a once time thing and that he wants a life with her.

When Lily finds out that Devon slept with Abby, she will push her brother for answers. She won’t understand why he betrayed her in that manner and could feel upset with him. It will be interesting to see her reaction to the cheating. It could go a few ways. One certain thing, Lily won’t be happy that her brother lost such a fantastic woman.

Y&R Spoilers — When Will We See Amanda Sinclair Again?

As the Y&R viewers know, the actress who plays Amanda Sinclair has decided to go off contract and drop to recurring status. That means we’ll see less of her. It will likely be during the sweep months when we see her.

As for her next appearance, the buzz on social media is that she could pop up in Genoa City for May sweeps, which will air at the end of April. It’s a little way out, but she’s definitely worth the wait. Perhaps, Amanda will return to say she’s forgiven Devon and come back to announce she’s expecting.
