Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was not at all happy when The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) took Newman Media and sold it right out from under him, handing it all to Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) and her new con man of a husband. But Victor has a plan for Adam in this whole scheme. He wants Adam to be his man on the inside who gathers new intel on Ashland. He has Michael Baldwin (Christian J. Le Blanc) working one angle and who can he trust more than the son he barely trusted until a year ago to get even more information?

Yes, Victor also learns about Adam and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), but he tells his son to focus on business and family while still enjoying himself with a new woman. Will Adam do his father’s bidding? If he can stick it to Victoria, then perhaps he will.

Victoria doesn’t care who she steps over (sometimes quite literally) to get what she wants and on Wednesday, she takes aim at a new victim. Who will she hurt this time? Will it be Sally, the woman she just gave a job to who has absolutely no qualifications for this job whatsoever? Victoria never seems to actually do anything from the goodness of her heart anymore.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been rather quiet in all these family problems that stem from his sister’s terrible taste in men. He tried to warn everyone, but nobody listened to him and now his mother seems the worse for wear.

When he stops by to visit Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) , he can tell she is under distress and he gets her to open up about why. Well, she is worried about what Ashland (Robert Newman) really wants to do with Newman Locke. Perhaps Victoria really did make a big mistake when she married this man.
