The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has to come up with a new plan to take down Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) as he realizes that Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) is going to unbelievable lengths to stand by her man in upcoming episodes of The Young and The Restless!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman-Locke Can’t See The Forest For The Trees

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Victoria can’t see the forest for the trees – after the initial exposé that he assumed the identity and job of a young teenage friend and his name is Bobby DeFranco, Victoria believes every word Ashland says! In a recent episode, Victor had convinced Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that what Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) had told him about Ashland paying doctors associated with the Peruvian clinic, which Ashland also owns to fake his cancer diagnosis was true.

In a recent episode of The Young and The Restless, Nikki met with Victoria at Crimson Lights, where Nikki tried to give her daughter a warning about her husband and what her father and Michael had found out. Victoria wouldn’t believe her mother, and Nikki became frustrated and walked out, but Victoria did leave a message for Michael to call her – which of course won’t be returned because now Michael is missing, along with the evidence that he found on the faked diagnosis!

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman Enlists Nick Newman To Help Convince Victoria Newman-Locke

Viewers of The Young and The Restless can imagine that Victoria won’t be really willing to listen to anything her brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has to say about Ashland, but Victor enlists him anyway. Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Victoria and Nick, as the only two full siblings in the Newman family, have always been close – that is, until Nick exposed Ashland as a fraud, bringing proof he was DeFranco in an effort to stop the wedding!

Victoria has already been angered at their father delving into Locke’s past again, and making trouble for him because he didn’t want her making Locke the co-CEO, but Victor still hopes that Nick will be able to get through to her. After all, Ashland Locke has been lying to the wife that he claims he loves once again, and Victor fears that Victoria is only a means to an end for the Locke Ness Monster!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Shares His Plan With Adam Newman

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see Victor share his plan of action with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to mixed reviews; Adam doesn’t understand why their father didn’t pick him to convince Victoria of Locke’s deceit. Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that if Nick doesn’t get along with Victoria as well as he once did, Adam doesn’t get along with her at all, and that’s what Victor explains to Adam!

The point is to get someone to get through to Victoria about who her husband really is and what he really does, and Victoria will listen to Adam even less than she would to Nick! Adam suggests a backup plan to Victor, in case in spite of their best efforts, no one can get through to his sister, which Victor quickly puts the kibosh on. Adam suggests to go to the press to leak Ashland’s deception, and to basically let the public decide his fate – Victor doesn’t want Victoria publicly embarassed, and besides it could invite a slander suit – that would not help matters at all!
