Y&R Spoilers: Victor’s Hate For Sally Is Misplaced– Why Is She Blamed For Adam’s Mistakes?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) hatred for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is misplaced. Victor doesn’t want to start a war with Adam. Instead of addressing his obvious anger toward Adam, he targeted Sally. It’s something that bothers Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

If anyone knows about Victor’s warpath, it is Nick. Over the years, they have fought more than they got along. Nick believes he tends to do the right thing. At the same time, Victor is ruthless and cutthroat in business and his personal life. Their difference in personalities causes friction between them.

Nick is a sucker for a damsel in distress. He sees Sally as someone who must be saved from Victor and Victoria’s wrath. He doesn’t want her to feel inferior or like she did something to lose her job at Newman Media.

Victor praised Victoria’s move to fire Sally and named Nate Hastings, Jr. (Sean Dominic) as the CEO of Newman Media. He touted how brilliant Nate was, citing his credentials as a physician. However, being a doctor is not the same as running a company. Nick can see that, but it is something Victoria and Victor have yet to realize.

For some reason, in Victor’s mind, he only has one child. Victoria is his mini-me, and lately, she’s acting just like him. He doesn’t see eye-to-eye with Nick or Adam. Most Y&R viewers understand Victor’s rage about Adam. He set out to destroy his father on more than one occasion. But Nick generally wants to get along with everyone. The only person he seems to despise is his brother, Adam. Even though he cannot stand his younger brother, he encourages Sally to work out her unresolved feelings for Adam before they start dating.

Nick doesn’t think it’s fair that Victor hates Adam so much that he agrees with Victoria’s decision to fire Sally. Straight from Victoria’s mouth, she told Nick she fired Sally because of her connection to Adam and to him. In Nick’s eyes, that was too much, as he should be free to spend time with whoever he wanted in his personal time.
