Y&R Spoilers: Victoria Not Done With Ashland – Recruits Billy For Battle

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is pretending that she has Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) out of her system. But anyone on either side of the screen who just lived through Victoria’s masterful ruse knows to remain skeptical of her intentions.

Victoria blindsided Ashland in New York, revealing a con he never saw coming. His reaction was controlled. But, as viewers saw, his rage erupted days later in a hotel room.

Victoria took from her father’s bad example. She pulled a Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) when initially telling her family that she had forgiven Ashland and was reuniting with him. The resignation from Newman Enterprises, move to New York, and appearance of starting a new company were all ploys.

She did not want to put anyone in an awkward position. For example, Victoria told Victor that she did not want to force him to lie to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). At least Victoria displayed some morality in that instance.

While conning Ashland made Victoria feel better, is she really the better person for turning tables on the so-called Lockeness Monster? And, what does her request to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) reveal?

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Remains Invested

Billy discussed Victoria’s request with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). That was smart, as she is his boss.

Beyond the business aspect, Billy knows he must treat lightly where Victoria related matters are concerned. Lily has been highly accepting of Billy’s involvement in Victoria’s life. Some would say, too accepting.

Billy’s investment in all-things Victoria is always played off as being in the best interests of their children. But devoted fans know it is more than that.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Soulless Podcast Drops

Lily was not keen on Billy producing a cloaked Grinning Soul podcast episodes about Ashland, as Victoria requested. But it happened, with Ashland receiving a link to it shortly thereafter.

So, Victoria has not exacted enough revenge. Billy is on his renewable energy mission to defend his pre-Lily soul mate, and Ashland is provoked as a result.

Ashland is even more emboldened to target enemies, with his list expanding to Billy if his identity is revealed. Why would Thompson’s character take that risk if not as proof of his undying devotion to Victoria and regardless of his genuine feelings for Lily?
