Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is still heartbroken after having to let Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) go for now. Her attitude toward Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and how he feels Phyllis used him to get to Diane was just all too much for Jack, but that certainly doesn’t mean he is staying away from anything that has to do with Diane. To the contrary, she is becoming a part of Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) life once again so that makes her a part of his life.
But Jack is not Diane’s only concern in Genoa City. She has lots of enemies and that can spell a problem for her. On Monday, she learns that the hard way when she and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) have yet another confrontation that can turn ugly. Jack is the one who has to step in and try to save the two women from hurting one another. But whose side does he take? He seems to be on Diane’s side a lot of late, which didn’t sit well with Phyllis, and certainly won’t sit well with Nikki. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how these stories play out.
