Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) drove while hysterical crying, while seemingly wearing no shoes, and whil screaming her problems to her mother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), on the phone. That was not a good combination, so she crashed and now Sharon Roseles’ husband, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), is dead. Victoria takes complete moral responsibility for causing this death, but Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) don’t want her to think about that.
When Ashland tries to help, Victor tells him to get put of the way. He is in charge now and will make sure that Victoria is healthy and doesn’t go to jail for what happened. After all, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)went to jail for taking her own eyes off the road for a minute while being hysterical. When will these women learn?
But at least Lily landed on her feet, is a big CEO now and has Victoria’s previous husband. So, it will all likely turn out just fine for Victoria. There is no way Victor will allow her to get in trouble for this one.
It’s Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) who has to be there for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan_ when she is beside herself and blames herself for what happened to Rey. If he wasn’t taking her and Connor to a hockey game. If he hadn’t had to go back for the tickets. So many ifs, and Rey would still be alive. Plus, she really was falling for the guy.
