The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has been digging deep and trying to get to the bottom of the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) investigation so he can turn it around on his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and get him locked up for moving the body.
Adam has been trying to get everyone on his side most recently trying to convince Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) was not as good a Boyscout as he leads on, but Kevin was adamant that Chance was one of the “good guys”.
Still, Adam feels like he is getting pretty close to the truth, but will Victor be able to flip the script?
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Flips It On Adam
Of course, we’re still talking about Victor Newman, the man who can plan for things that haven’t even happened yet and still come out on top of the situation. Well, except the last one, but this one, we’re sure he has a plan for Adam and will finesse his way out of it.
Whatever Adam has planned, we have to assume that Victor already knows about it and has a way to combat it. Even if Adam were to get the information that Victor had moved the body (well, his team), Victor would magically find a way to put Adam’s prints on the car and blame the entire situation on him.
While Adam would love to finally pull one over on his father, it doesn’t look likely, and sending him to prison could backfire terribly.
Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman To Prison?
There’s no shock that the writers and everyone in Genoa City want to make Adam out to be the bad guy. They always have, always will, and they would have no problem sending him to jail instead of Victor.
Victor is untouchable, and even something as obvious and blatant as this won’t be enough to see him behind bars, but if Adam keeps pushing, I don’t think Victor will have an issue with sending his own son to prison and placing the blame on him.
This could be a moment where Chance finally comes around, and when he sees his old friend behind bars for something he knows he didn’t do, he could reopen the investigation and do what’s right.
What do you think? Will Victor be able to flip this around on Adam and could that be the point where Chance reopens it? Let us know in the comments below.
