After Ashland’s body was found in his car, Chance went to question Victor. Nick and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) just happened to be present at the time. Nick repeated his story to Chance, which was the same as he originally told the detective.

However, the problem came when Chance began grilling Victor. Chance asked what prompted Victor to show up right around the time Ashland’s body disappeared. Victor said he had security detail outside of Victoria’s house. Victor claimed that security alerted him that Victoria and Nick left the house in a distressed state.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Chance mentioned that he didn’t see any security when he arrived. However, Victor had an answer. Victor said he sent the security team home and went to see what was wrong with his children.

Chance accepted the answer, but it was clear that he doesn’t believe Victor. After Chance left Victor’s office, Michael gave Victor a warning. Michael said that this wouldn’t be the last of Chance’s questions.

Y&R Spoilers – Arrest And Backlash

In the Thursday, July 28 episode, Chance will reflect on all the evidence and statements in Ashland’s murder case. Chance will reach into his pocket and grab the ring that was given to him by Nick. Chance is quickly connecting the dots.

It is teased that Chance could determine that Ashland’s body was moved post-mortem. Knowing Victor’s history, Chance could make a double arrest. If Victor and Michael are charged with tampering with evidence and unlawful relocation of a corpse, they both could face prison time.

Even though Victor and Michael took action with Ashland’s body, they didn’t kill the villain. This will just complicate the case. It will also make it harder to prove that Nick killing Ashland was an accident. Nick has always known how his father takes care of complicated family matters. However, this just might be the last straw for Nick.
