Y&R Spoilers: Tucker Romances Ashley– Will She Fall Into His Trap?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will work extra hard to win Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) over during the week of December 12. Ashley doesn’t trust Tucker and believes he remains a threat to Jabot.

In the weekly preview, Tucker tells Ashley that he wants to start a new company and that he needs her to head the company. Considering her trouble with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) over Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Tucker’s offer could be tempting.

Y&R Spoilers– Ashley Just Doesn’t Trust Tucker

Ashley suspects that Tucker has an ulterior motive, which causes her not to trust Tucker completely. She wants to believe that he is a changed man and sincere about building a relationship with her and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). But something about him just doesn’t sit right for Ashley.

“Ashley is somewhat charmed by Tucker’s efforts. However, her distrust of him makes her question his sincerity, and she suspects there’s an ulterior motive for all his wining and dining,” Eileen Davidson shares with Soap Opera Digest.

Ashley refuses to let her guard down with Tucker. Y&R spoilers state that when Tucker turns the conversation to discuss his feelings for her, Ashley becomes cagey because she cannot let him worm back into her life. She can’t shake the feeling that Tucker is after Jabot, something that she cannot allow to happen.

Young and the Restless Spoilers– Is Tucker A Changed Man?

Ashley doesn’t believe that Tucker is a changed man. She realizes his feelings for Devon are probably genuine, as he missed most of his life. However, she can’t discount that he could be pursuing her to make a play for Jabot.

“Ashley is suspicious of Tucker’s insistence that he’s a changed man and wants to make up for lost time with her and Devon. She realizes she’ll need to stay one step ahead to prevent him from going after Jabot,” Davidson added.

Ashley will need to lead him on to keep him away from her family’s company. However, the more time she spends with him, the more likely he can convince her that he’s a changed man.
