Kyle will meet Diane by the end of this week. Diane will probably give him the same story she told Jack and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang). When Kyle hears why Diane faked her death and stayed away for so long, he will be torn. However, there is reason to believe Kyle will want to give his mother a chance to prove herself.

Eventually, Summer and Diane will face each other. However, if Kyle ends up wanting his mother in his life, how will Summer react to this? Summer is Kyle’s wife, and they made a commitment to support each other.

On the other hand, Summer is Phyllis’ daughter. Fans know how controlling and demanding Phyllis can be. So, if Kyle wants to get to know Diane, that will put Summer right in the middle.

As for Diane, she will likely be warned that she gets one chance. Any funny business or schemes, Kyle could shut her out of his life for good. At some point, Diane will probably find a way to prove herself to “Skyle.” Whether this is genuine proof of Diane’s intentions or manufactured to make it seem that way is a mystery.

The whole situation with Diane could cause conflict between Phyllis and Summer. The mother and daughter are extremely close. Phyllis has always interfered to protect Summer from various situations and people. So, it’s probably time to put some conflict into that relationship.
