Y&R Spoilers: Sally’s Secret, What Is She Keeping From Nick?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers show that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) history may be connected to her future. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had his crew do some investigation and put together a large dossier on Sally’s prior misdeeds, as Y&R fans are aware.

Sally feigning a terminal illness in Los Angeles has received a lot of attention, which is strange given that viewers already knew this. Even if you didn’t watch The Bold and the Beautiful, Y&R had a crossover with B&B and highlighted this fake fatal illness information.

In other words, it’s not some major surprise that they should be focusing on right now – at least not from a fan standpoint. Is there a deeper rationale for the show’s decision to revisit this? When we look at the latest spoilers for the week of December 26-30, we see that Sally will keep a secret.

Sally will keep something from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and others in Genoa City hidden, so we must speculate on what that something might be. With all of the attention on Sally’s previous phony illness, could the show be about to give her a genuine one?

Y&R Spoilers – Could This Drive Her Back To Adam Newman?

Sally doesn’t appreciate being labeled as weak, and she certainly doesn’t want anyone’s sympathy. It’s understandable that Sally would not want to tarnish her new romance with Nick with the fact that she’s ill. Sally may confront a medical diagnosis and try to keep the facts from Nick for as long as possible.

Perhaps Sally could fight some unknown ailment alone for a while, hoping to beat it without Nick knowing. Sally may be afraid that if she speaks honestly, Nick’s family and other skeptics would assume she’s fake again. This would be the ideal setting to gradually nudge Sally back in the direction of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Adam may win Sally’s confidence and even rekindle their previous chemistry in the process. Of course, the program occasionally exaggerates the significance of spoilers. If Sally is preparing for Nick’s birthday or has another surprise in mind, her secret may be a little more routine. However, it’s at least worth speculating that Sally could actually be very ill this time.
