Y&R Spoilers: Sally Makes Peace With Chelsea, New Opportunity For Designer?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) might make peace with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and do her a solid. Sally’s starting a new interior design business and bringing on Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) Chelsea’s best friend, and the three together could be a triple threat design team.

It’s not a far stretch for clothing designers to become interior designers, it’s pretty much the same skill set except they’ll be dressing rooms instead of people. Sally already has contacts for upholstery and window dressing fabrics, and the girls may even design the fabrics to decorate with. And then there’s wall décor, which does go in and out of style, but anything from paint, paneling and wallpaper goes into that.

Homes, hotels, bistros and boutiques, they all need interior design to be comfortable and successful. Chloe has been working with Sally, but she’s also made peace with Chelsea and they know she’ll need a job when she’s ready.

Y & R Spoilers – Creativity Can Be An Emotional Outlet

Creativity can be an emotional outlet and that would be a good thing for Chelsea, who also had stepped away from fashion. Her most recent experience has been in the podcast she did for a short time with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and even that could work for the new design company. They’ll need a way to publicize their new venture and a interior design blog and podcast could be fun, and just the thing to get the word out. Sally will be sympathetic to Chelsea’s needs, she knows she was having some major issues, having babysat Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) for short time periods more than once. Chloe might give Sally a nudge that they could use a third partner-when Chelsea’s ready.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Designing Young Women

Sally’s no longer with Adam so he won’t be an issue between her and Chelsea, and even if she and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) become closer it’s no problem. It would be good for Connor to have an “Aunt Sally” and she’s in a better place to keep up that relationship friends with his mom. This kind of a business could be done from home, and they wouldn’t even need office space right off the bat.

That would be even better to not have office rent expenses considering Sally turned down Nick’s seed money, which Chloe disagreed with. That way they could get their business off the ground and start making some profit before they have to worry about building space and other needs, and children would be welcomed.
