The Young and the Restless spoilers document Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has stepped back from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). But that feels like nothing more than a temporary break.

Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was forced to stop thinking about his failed relationship with Sally and her choice to reject his call to get back together. Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) crisis required Adam’s immediate attention.

Nick did not pursue Sally. Hope’s character did not consider using Nick as a means of seeking revenge against Adam. This pairing happened naturally, which Adam is having a hard time digesting.

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint  Chelsea felt closer to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) than she has in years. She went too far in kissing him. But he reacted honestly, was direct, and informed Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Billy was compelled to help Chelsea when seeing her at the Glam Club, and thankfully he did. His efforts were vital and resulted in what is at least a strong friendship.

Egan’s The Young and the Restless character has been flailing since Adam had her kidnapped, and she suffered a stroke. Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death set Chelsea back immeasurably, with Billy seemingly replacing him in her heart.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Takes Sally Spectra Off The Board

Sally still has feelings for Adam, that are undeniable when they are in each other’s presence. That makes sense, as their breakup is relatively fresh.

Nick’s emergence did not make him Adam’s competition. Due to the drama Grossman’s character routinely creates, Sally opted to move on and has stuck to her logical decision.

The pairing between Sally and Nick grew organically this year. Adam may not want to admit it, but his older brother’s connection with Sally takes her off the board.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Is Single For Now

Sally does not want to be with Adam, and neither does Chelsea. It feels as though TPTB are writing Billy and Chelsea together romantically, though that storyline could move in various directions.

Adam is not in love with Chelsea. But he could rediscover those feelings with Sally out of the picture, and because of their link through Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

It would seem unlikely that Adam will remain single indefinitely. Sharon Rosales’ single status makes her an obvious rebound possibility. But as mid-fall, Adam is on his own mostly because Sally chose Nick.
