Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis’ Family Complete, Danny And Daniel Return

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) family will be complete by Christmastime. Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) is already in town, her son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) expected around Thanksgiving, and his father Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will return by Christmas on December 22.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – A Short History

When Phyllis first met Danny in the 1980s, she was a groupie following him around. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) was also singing back in those days and she sang with Danny frequently. Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) mom and Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) then going by “Cricket” and Traci were all good friends. But it was groupie Phyllis who found it necessary to horn in and got Danny into bed when he was married to Cricket, which is how Daniel was conceived-supposedly.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Phyllis was an interfering influence in many relationships, including after Christine married Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) after her divorce from Danny. They divorced in 2001 but remarried in 2013, after a long time apart.

Y & R Spoilers – Married Twice, Burned Twice?

Danny and Phyllis were married twice, from 1994-1996 and again from 1997-1998. He later found out that Phyllis was already pregnant by another man when Daniel was conceived, and divorced her, but since he was the father of record, he had parental rights. A custody battle ensued and Phyllis was proven unstable and an unfit mother, in part due to the testimony of Daniel’s true birth father Brian Hamilton (most recently William A. Wallace). Danny had enough of Phyllis and her manipulations, leaving on an European tour taking Daniel with him, feeling it wasn’t in Daniel’s best interest for Phyllis to have contact. Phyllis has had more contact with Daniel as an adult but hasn’t seen Danny for many years.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Excited For Michael Damian’s Return

As for Phyllis’ portrayer Michelle Stafford, she’s excited for Michael Damian’s return; his last appearance had been in 2013. She posted excited Instagram messages, and noted she and Michael were rehearsing, complete with behind the scenes photos and videos. She’s also excited to see Michael Graziadei, with all three running lines together and joking, so they’ll definitely be seen as a family group.

As for what Michael Damian has been up to, he’s gotten into directing, producing and writing, recently being the driving force behind a Netflix movie called “Falling For Christmas”. It stars Lindsay Lohan of “The Parent Trap” fame, the 1998 remake, and she was also in Disney’s “Freaky Friday” in 2003.
