The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) might be trying to assure his whole family that he had nothing to do with what happened to Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), including Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Of course, nobody believes him, especially his wife.

So, Nikki doesn’t want to see Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) poking around to try to get to the truth because that could put Victor behind bars again. To that end, she pays a visit to her stepdaughter, Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). She wants to appeal to her sense of family and see if she can talk to her husband about just letting this whole Ashland thing drop. What’s the harm of that, right?

Well, Abby sees some harm and doesn’t take kindly to Nikki walking into her house and suggesting she have her husband not follow the evidence where it leads when he is a man of the law. Will Abby tell Chance about this little visit from Nikki, which will certainly make things look all the more suspicious?
