The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, July 29, 2022, reveal Nick facing quite a dilemma. Will he do the right thing or the Newman thing?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashland Locke Will Forever Haunt

Although Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) had no intention of killing Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) when he punched him for grabbing Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Ashland fell into the fireplace, hit his head, and that was the end of him. Of course, Nick wanted to tell the truth immediately because he probably remembered the JT Helstrom (Thad Luckinbill) situation, but Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) took over for the sidelines and made sure that didn’t happen.

Now, the official word is Ashland’s body was found in Ashland’s very own car and Nick has to stick to that story. The problem is his conscience. Nick isn’t comfortable with any of this and wants to just tell the truth. But, he is a Newman and his family doesn’t think any of that is necessary at the moment. Maybe it will never be necessary.

Do the other Newans convince Nick to just be quiet and behave? After Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has some words for her son, will he turn to the Coffee Shop Therapist for advice, since that is all Sharon Collins (Sharon Case) seems to do these days?

Y&R Spoilers – What About Kyle Abbott?

Now that Ashland is dead, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is going to have to tell young Harrison and he doesn’t know quite how to do this right without hurting the boy. So, he also looks for advice, and who wants to bet it comes in the form of his mom, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)? Sure, she is a very good example of how to parent. Maybe Kyle is better off turning to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Is Mariah Copeland Hiding?

First, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) was trying to keep to herself how scared she is about her vocal cord problems, but now Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is keeping something to herself. These two married ladies need to learn that keeping secrets is never a good thing, but they are on a soap opera, so it’s doubtful that will happen.
