The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman And Sharon Rosales Married When Very Young

Longtime viewers will remember that Nick and Sharon married when they were very young, barely out of high school, but they were absolutely smitten with each other! They faced challenges of many types, not the least of which was Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) disdain and disapproval of Sharon, because she was lower class financially. Nikki obviously forgot where she came from, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) having met her when she was a stripper for a living; he, however had no problems accepting Sharon.

After many problems caused by other people they had dated in high school, Nick and Sharon eloped shortly afterwards. Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) is their first child together, Sharon finding her child Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) a few years later, who Nick loved as his own and adopted.

With Noah home, and Cassie’s twin Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) having just gotten married, not to mention Sharon’s recent widowhood, The Young and the Restless spoilers tease Nick has been with Sharon a lot lately. There have been a lot of tears and fears shared, and a lot of just hanging around together, and realizing Cassie was now gone longer than she’d lived. Nick and Sharon have both been through the wringer in their lives both together and separately, having remarried twice since their first divorce. With going through so many memories and so many emotional issues together lately, it’s no wonder Nick is wishing that he and Sharon had never broken up. The subject will come up between them soon.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers –Nick Newman’s Been Unattached Now For A While

Viewers recall that Nick has been unattached now for a while – he had thought after being involved with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for so long, they’d have reconciled for good. But Phyllis ended their relationship very suddenly, blindsiding Nick and him not being sure where it came from – turns out she’d become re-interested in Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Nick didn’t care to try to get her back, and he doesn’t care to now – even if Jack just dumped her for good, it seems!

Nick feels like he’s come home with he’s with Sharon, though he wouldn’t even think of trying to reconcile with her this soon after Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) unexpected death. But he wants to be around a lot for their daughter Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) since the loss of her stepfather, so while she’s still at home he’ll be there.

Nick and Sharon share memories of their children together when they were little, and he still has a little boy in his home – Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). Perhaps Sharon would like to see him more often, since he could use a mother figure and once Faith is at college she might get lonely for a child! Nick and Sharon talk about their past together and how young they were when they first married, not much older than Faith is now. Nick lets it slip that there have been times he wishes they had never split up, and finds that Sharon has frequently thought the same thing!
